MIDWEIGHT GRAPHIC DESIGNER



SUMMARY OF ROLE

Job title: Graphic Designer
Department: Marketing & PR / Ecommerce
Key responsibilities: We are looking for a talented and creative middle to senior weight graphic designer to join the marketing and ecommerce teams at Turnbull & Asser. This is an exciting role, working in-house and as an integral part of the business, the successful candidate will work to shape the brand’s graphic tone and creative output across all touchpoints.

ROLE DETAIL

This role will support the marketing and ecommerce teams and work across all creative communications across the global business. It will include the following:


  • Use seasonal imagery to create campaign advertising to publisher specs.
  • Create emails briefed by the marketing team and work on new template ideas.
  • Create all digital assets, to include social media posts, affiliate, wholesale and digital advertising banners, gifs.
  • Design all POS, to include invitations, in store comms.
  • Work with social media coordinator to create new and engaging content.
  • Update/design brand packaging and labels.
  • Provide design solutions for all internal projects such as signage, literature, business proposals and presentations.
  • Have a proven ability to develop and deliver high impact creative that works across traditional, digital and social media channels, optimised to engage their respective audiences.
  • Be able to respond to briefs with original ideas, be comfortable questioning a brief and be happy to see ideas through to delivery.
  • Be experienced in managing design and print production.
  • Be quick-thinking under pressure and able to manage time, working across different projects at once.
  • Have a natural confidence and ability to engage and inspire senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Enjoy coming up with new ideas and new ways of doing things.


  • REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 4+ years’ experience as a graphic designer, ideally within fashion/retail/luxury.
  • Experience working on all creative elements for a brand, from print to digital.
  • Knowledge of art-working for print ads preferable.
  • An understanding of creative in the luxury world.
  • A thorough understanding and experience of representing a brand and working with brand guidelines.
  • Experience working with print suppliers.
  • Creative with a passion for menswear.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple teams at one time.
  • Advanced knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop is essential.
  • Film editing / animation suite experience a plus.

    COPYWRITER & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR, LONDON



    SUMMARY OF ROLE

    Job title: Copywriter & Social Media Coordinator
    Department: Marketing
    Key responsibilities: This role will support the Marketing & PR team, with a dotted line into the Ecommerce team, and represent the brand across all communications, with a particular focus on social media.



    ROLE DETAIL

    The role covers two key areas of responsibly:


    1. Copywriting

    As the principle copywriter for Turnbull & Asser, you will be the voice of the brand across all channels, and act as gatekeeper for our Tone of Voice. This role will involve working with the Marketing & PR and Ecommerce teams to write original copy and content, as well as to proofread and edit third-party contributions, including, but not limited to:

  • Product descriptions for ecommerce .
  • Engaging copy for content-rich feature pages to support product launches, events and seasonal collections.
  • Blog posts, including basic html coding.
  • Social Media Copy for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Press Releases & Event Invitations.
  • Email Newsletters.
  • CRM focused direct to consumer email templates for store associates to use.
  • Website meta data, SEO and front-end.
  • In-store POS.
  • Other ad hoc marketing communications e.g. customer letters, terms and conditions, affiliate & marketplace communications.
  • Attendance of brand-relevant events for the creation of content focused on the T&A lifestyle.

  • 2. Social Media Coordination

    As the Social Media Coordinator you will be responsible for managing of the brand’s social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube. Working closely with Creative, Marketing and Ecommerce, you will also develop channel strategy and play an important role in driving community engagement and platform innovation. As such, this role entails:

  • Day-to-day management of social platforms, including responding to queries.
  • Proactive identification and implementation of appropriate opportunities to build and engage audiences.
  • Populate, maintain and execute the social media content calendar, in alignment with strategy.
  • Weekly analysis of platforms and performance, compiling and presenting findings.
  • Monitoring and managing social advertising and paid promotion, inc. shoppable posts.
  • Monitoring the activity and growth of competitor’s social channels.
  • In-store event coverage on appropriate social channels.
  • Continuous identification of opportunities to develop new & existing platforms.
  • Identify and engage with appropriate third parties to supplement the Social Strategy.
  • Assisting in defining and the implementation of the Digital Content Strategy.

  • 3. Content Generation [Nice-to-Have]

    Working closely with Marketing and Creative, you will be tasked with creating engaging and relevant content to support the brand strategy. This includes

  • Product and store photography.
  • Event Photography [inc. third party].


  • REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

  • 2-3 years’ experience of Copywriting/journalism, preferably within menswear fashion.
  • Experience of managing social media channels and content, inc. the formation, management and optimisation of paid campaigns.
  • An understanding of marketing – on and offline, including search engine optimisation.
  • Ability to seamlessly integrate SEO into copy and content.
  • Be a self-starter who actively looks for opportunities to generate engaging content.
  • Experience generating content for a fashion/luxury brand would be ideal.
  • Be prepared to occasionally attend events outside of standard working hours.
  • Prior experience of Shopify would be a plus but not essential.
  • Experience in photography and basic photographic editing is a big plus.

    Sales Associate, Davies Street, London. Full Time, 40 hours p/w. 5-day working rota over 7, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

    We are looking for a bright, positive individual to join our retail team at Davies Street, London. Applicants should have experience working within luxury menswear, have an eye for detail and be driven by achieving sales through excellent customer care.



    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Based in our Head Office in London, we are looking for a motivated individual to work within a compact IT support team to manage all 1st line IT support calls. The position is available with immediate start.



    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage by phone or email all IT incidents or requests for assistance in relation to current IT services or process.
  • Direct and escalate support calls to 2nd/3rd line level as and when required.
  • Administer and maintain the IT Service Desk support call logging system
  • Oversee and maintain corporate backup and anti-virus solutions from Head Office
  • End-to-end management Office 365 across the business
  • Consolidate, upgrade and manage all physical servers across business
  • Monitoring of internal server side event logs inc. changes and/or potential disruptions to normal service
  • Update PCs and servers throughout business with latest Microsoft updates and patches
  • Assist line manager with rolling out all IT change processes throughout business
  • Manage Meraki firewalls and routers through business
  • Managing corporate local and network printing infrastructure inc. ordering spares and consumables
  • Create and manage an IT procurement standard to be used for all new starters/replacement equipment
  • Setup new user machines as necessary, inc. hardware configuration, network configuration and Office 365 setup
  • Assist 2nd line support incidents as required
  • First point of contact for 3rd party suppliers


  • QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    Any recognised academic, technical or professional IT accreditation would be an advantage, but not essential. Successful candidates would have worked in a similar support role for a minimum of 2.5 years



    PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in Ethernet environments using Active Directory, TCP/IP and DNS
  • Familiarity of LAN/WAN/VPN network infrastructure including testing (ping, tracert)
  • Experience in managing Meraki routers and firewalls
  • Knowledge of remote desktop & Citrix
  • Experience in creating and working with virtual servers (Hypervisor, EXSI)
  • Experience working with FTP & EDI
  • Ability to produce accurate results whilst working under pressure and against tight timescales
  • Knowledge and experience of working in Microsoft Server/Desktop and Apple Mac environments
  • Comprehension and understanding of Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008/2012 relational database structures
  • IT experience in working within a retail environment would be a distinct advantage
  • Good communication skill and enthusiasm
  • Ability to assist and work alongside other departments
  • MS Office knowledge essential
  • Experience in working with both Windows and Mac environments
