Founded in 1885, Turnbull & Asser recently celebrated a landmark anniversary of 13 years as one of England‚ finest shirtmakers. To commemorate this milestone we commissioned renowned menswear writer James Sherwood to produce a book that delved deep into our archive, retelling our rich and impressive history for all to learn about. The resulting tome includes many unearthed photographs and memorable stories previously unbeknown to even the most dedicated T&A fanatics. Past employees you might remember such as Ken Williams, our long-standing Managing Director and Paul Cuss, our first custodian of the royal warrant, talk us through their heyday, while whimsical anecdotes from fellow Hollywood legends explain why T&A was seen as the go-to dressers for the worldwide A-list.
