Understanding our
pocket squares

The design

Pocket squares are artwork - beautiful symmetry is created by first drawing a quarter, mirroring it in half, then half again to create a whole square. An interesting border decoration is also an important consideration as it will be viewable from pockets.

the Illustrations

Our designers work with a number of different illustrators, each one selected for their specific styles. Special projects like Mr Benn, Thunderbirds or Bond, utilise specially commissioned pieces or re-work archive drawings.

Hand printed in england

Our pocket squares are printed in Macclesfield, using a mixture of traditional hand screen printing techniques through to more modern digital techniques for maximum colour impact.

Our collaborations are as varied as our in-house designs. From cult UK cartoon hero 'Mr. Benn' through to Beatles inspired prints, our pocket squares take centre stage for our now famous collaborations.

The Materials

Robust yet soft, a silk filament is stronger than a same-sized steel filament. We use exclusively designed English silks to make our pocket squares.

The Silk

Our pocket squares are made in England from either a pure silk or wool and silk composition.
