THE COLOUR PALETTE
During Vincent van Gogh's time in London, he was influenced by the city and his artist peers, such as Francis Bacon. These prominent artworks were used to guide the colour palette combinations of soft pink, rich green and navy against pops of bold coral, marine and copper.
The centrepiece shirts are a mix of confident stripes and coloured checks created traditionally for business, but easily optioned to style in a more relaxed way. With designs exclusive to us, the colour combinations reveal more interest close up, and a subtle playfulness.
The knitwear sees a selection of new warmer, bolder colours come into play with classic cashmere jumpers in sunflower yellow, cobalt blue and deep harissa—made to be worn perfectly under your jacket.
A standout piece in the collection is the new tailored fit shirt with a concealed button-down Bury collar in rusty orange and broad- spaced fine white stripes. Styled with a matte silk textured green tie and brown velvet jacket, the mood of seventies’ Englishness prevails.
The new seasonal textured hopsack blazers in rich copper and navy, and the brown plaid and charcoal herringbone cashmere jackets are standouts for the colder months— all of which are woven in England and constructed in Italy to our refined fit.
Key pieces include the new Turnbull & Asser fully waterproof Cashmere Overcoat in dark navy. The technical rain proofing known as 'Storm System®' is created by Loro Piana and forms a membrane on the back of the cloth, hidden by a full lining.
Alternatively, the new Joseph Tailored Wool Overcoat is an excellent choice for a modern city look, the pattern of which was developed in house by our design team in collaboration with our Bespoke Pattern Cutter. Lastly, the Turnbull classic Peacoat comes in camel cashmere or classic navy wool.
For the wintry months, chunky cashmere shawl neck cardigans expertly knitted in Wales are the go-to for a sophisticated change to a jacket.
