Cookie Policy

As part of the new European Union privacy protection laws we are required to inform you when we use tracking features called "cookies" on our website.

How we use cookies

'Cookies” are tiny, harmless text files sent to your computer or mobile when you visit a website.

Most websites use cookies, and in our case we use them to understand where visitors are coming from and how they use our website in order for us to constantly improve the website experience.

Cookie data is always anonymised and only stored temporarily, and never includes sensitive information such as your name, address or credit card details.

Turnbull & Asser uses both first and third party cookies. These broadly fall in to four categories:

Essential cookies: Essential cookies are those that allow you to access our website, browse and shop our products, and navigate through pages. These are required in order to provide you with the basic functionality of our website.

Performance cookies: These allow us to better understand how you use our website. Performance cookies will collect information such as how many visitors the site receives, as well as measuring usage, which in turn, also allows us to understand how effective our marketing is, and where we can improve to deliver you a more relevant experience while shopping with us.

Functionality cookies: Functionality cookies help us to improve the functionality of our site, so while they’re not technically essential, they do contribute to easier navigation and therefore an improved shopping experience.

Targeting cookies: In addition to those listed above, we use some cookies to track browsing behaviour, which allow us to better understand what products our customers are interested in. With this insight, we can make sure our product offering is as relevant as it can be, and that when you see advertising from us, we’re only showing you products that you’ve already expressed interest in, or are similar to the items you have already seen on our site. We work with the Google Display Network, and you’re likely to see these adverts on a variety of websites across the internet, regardless of whether you use google or otherwise. Note that while these advertisements are tailored to the individual user, cookie data is always anonymised and only stored temporarily.
