Style Notes

Throughout our history, Turnbull collections have held many bold and colourful stripes and checks. Through a collaboration organised by the great Kenneth Williams, the particular stripe pattern of this shirt is a Danny Zarem creation from the 1970s reimagined in this season's palette. The Shelton is cut in our tailored fit and complete with our Kent collar. This classic shirt in a purple multi-stripe offers sartorial charm for the season, finished with trusted two-button cuffs.

Construction Details

Our shirts are handmade in our Gloucester factory, using hand-worked sewing machines operated by seamstresses with a wealth of experience. The patterns are cut from the highest quality fabrics, with the separate pieces expertly brought together to create the final design. We finish the shirt with ethically sourced mother-of-pearl buttons, which are thermally fused to ensure they never loosen with wear; two branded collar stays are then placed into the collar for aesthetic and functional precision.
