A bold interpretation of a classic accessory, this seven-fold tie combines exceptional craftsmanship with a striking zigzag design. Requiring over three hours of handwork and double the amount of silk of a regular tie, it delivers a fuller, more substantial finish. The textured silk is woven to echo the movement of the motif, with the weave subtly changing direction to follow the zigzag pattern. The navy and red palette lends character and distinction while remaining firmly rooted in timeless menswear.
Construction Details
Handcrafted in England, our seven-fold ties omit traditional interlining in favour of carefully folded silk, creating a fuller handle and elegant drape. Each fold is steamed and centralised to hold its shape, while a hidden slip stitch allows the tie to ruche and relax back into place after wear. To finish, two extra-thick bar tacks are sewn alongside a mother-of-pearl button and corresponding scallop loop.
